Sometimes people project their own fears onto you.
Say thank you, and know where you’re at.
Say thank you, and ask yourself if they’ve been in the ring getting dirty themselves.
When I started in every saturated market (first promotional products, then blogging, then coaching, now essential oils), people asked me why I’d enter such a crowded space. My answer? ‘Cuz I’m passionate about my vision, believe in what I’m doing and calculated in my direction. There’s always room for new flavors if they taste good. You have to be realistic no question, but DREAMING mixed with DOING make a fine recipe for success.
I think if we can’t go a day without thinking about it, then calculated risks should be at least entertained… I think THAT’S being realistic. Don’t you?
And finally, I also think it’s especially important to convey messages onto our kids that every child has greatness within them. That you SEE them and BELIEVE in them.
